Vacation Rental Name: villa modica
Villa Modica is amazingly well equipped. The property owner/manager couldn't be nicer and greeted us with lasagne, salad, wine, water, milk, coffee and a complete supply of kitchen condiments such as olive oil and balsamic vinegar, as well as detergent and cleaning supplies. Also a very generous supply of linens is on hand.
The villa provided good space for 5 of us spanning 3 generations, and there's room for more. Lovely view of the town on the hill across the ravine and good location, close to town but not too close, i.e., it was peaceful and quiet. We took day trips to Mt. Etna, Siracusa, Ragusa, Donnafugata and the beach. The pool is very pretty though it was too cool to swim in March.
