We stayed at Las Tortugas (near the coast and Mojacar) in 2007 when it was a B&B and had a wonderful time so just had to return in September 2009 as self catering to find we were still very much under its spell. So glad that we made the effort this time to tear ourselves away from all that peace and quiet (not to mention the superb pool), to explore more of the area. We highly recommend the Cabo de Gata National Park as we were captivated by its beautiful unspoiled beaches and charming seaside villages, especially Agua Amarga. Las Tortugas is not to be missed. Accommodation excellent and the owners couldn't do enough for us and knew everything about the area.

This charming holiday apartment is perfect for a couple or even 4 people. The apartment is located in Costa del Sol, and the area is called Benalmadena. We liked its great terrace with views to the huge garden with all kinds of plants and palm trees. Our kids were swimming all day long in the big pool.

From the apartment there's no traffic noise, because the apartment is located in a quite place, but you still have a cafe in the corner, restaurants, supermarket, pharmacy and the beautiful harbour Puerto Marina just 200 meters from the apartment, and of course the beach.

The apartment looked great and it was even restored 3 years ago, so it was quite new. The price is also cheap comparing to the amount of facilities offered. It is only 15 minutes driving from Malaga International airport.
