Vacation Rental Name: Villa Terrazza

In my previous travels, I had always stuck with hotels. Renting with Amalfi Coast Rentals had me worried that I'd regret the experience. But as soon as I arrived at Villa Terrazza I was met by the man who would prove to be invaluable in maximizing my Italian getaway. Domenico Gagliano was able to help me along from the moment we met. He showed me the way around, warned to watch my step on the narrow roads, and told me to be kind and open with the local people, and they will reciprocate. He was right, as the people of the Amalfi Coast were very warm and giving. If Domenico hadn't been there to help me out, I doubt if I would have met nearly as many nice people as I did, and wouldn't have come home with the stories I can now share with my friends at home.

Positano is a small city, but it's still a place where you sort of have to be "in the know" to find the good eateries, beaches and shops. Domenico guided me to all the best places in Positano, Sorrento, Amalfi, and Praiano. He also walked me through the whole Capri "experience", which involves a boat, finicular, and car, but Domenico planned out my itinerary and the trip was well worth it. The apartment was beautifully arranged and furbished, and was well suited to reflect the natural beauty of the sea. I felt settled and comfortable in the apartment as soon as I got my bags unpacked. The kitchen provided ample room and appliances so that I could make whatever my heart desired; cook up a freshly caught fish, or make pasta with finest tomatoes in the world. In hotels, sometimes you can feel as though you're being rushed out for the next paying customer. At Villa Terrazza, as I awoke each morning and stood on the balcony to stare into that alluring azure of the Mediterranean, it honestly felt like home. I can't recommend Amalfi Coast Rentals and Primula of Amalfi enough; with their help, I had the trip of a lifetime.

Vacation Rental Name: Villa Terrazza

Earlier this year I was privileged enough to have vacationed at Villa Terrazza on the Amalfi coast of Italy. I am not accustomed to renting apartments as opposed to booking hotels room when travelling abroad, but I made an exception this time and I am glad I did! Domenico Verderame of Amalfi Coast Rentals was a priceless asset; he spoke fluent English, and was at the property to greet us upon arrival from Naples. Upon his recommendation, we took a boat ride to the Isle of Capri, and visited Paestum, which was extraordinary. He set us up with tickets and bus schedules and basically went out of his way to accommodate us. If you're going to travel to the Amalfi coast, Domenico is your man! He will show you a true Italian experience.

Vacation Rental Name: Lone

Oh I just Love the Amalfi Coast ! This was our third trip to the area. Previously we stayed in hotels, but after each holiday I told my husband that I'd like to have the opportunity to cook and eat at home for a change. What a Great Idea. We had the complete Italian experience here in Lone !

Because we had always done so in the past, we came by taxi from the airport. Antonetta was exactly where she said she would be, which was a relief as it had been a long day of travelling. Because we'd stayed in Positano on our last two holidays I was a little concerned about "getting around", after all, 3 km (from Lone to Amalfi) on the Amalfi Coast can be a confusing trip. Antonetta walked us through every question we had ! I wanted to know the best place to get groceries, toiletries, etc. ... no problem ... she had all the answers ... In perfect english ! Wow, that was a pleasant surprise. A very Professional operation.

The apartment was so comfortable. The kitchen is bright and looked to be brand new. The balconies ... of what a view of the sparkling Mediterranean Sea. We only went to one restaurant (which was Fantastic, Antonetta was right again !), because it was such fun cooking and eating al fresco in 'our home'.

After three days we took the Sita bus to Amalfi. After a little shopping, we decided to stop by Antonetta's office just to say "Ciao". I said that I wished we had arranged to stay in Italy a bit longer. I would have loved to spend a couple days in Rome. Antonetta jumped on the internet, and in 25 minutes we had changed our flight to a Rome departure, had train tickets from Naples to Rome, had car arrangements from Lone to Naples train station and last minute reservations for two nights in Rome ... talk about "Full Service", Antonetta can make anything happen !

Rome was Lovely, but once was enough. But, we will return to the Amalfi Coast and we will always use 'Amalfi Coast Rentals - Primula of Amalfi' to secure a rental property that we can depend on. I wish we had stayed here when our boys were young, the apartment came with a proper "backyard" with swings and a slide ! Maybe we'll have grandchildren to bring to Lone one day ! This experience could not have been better. Grazie Antonetta...
