La Crociona is a great agriturismo. The website is accurate. The location is wonderful, three minutes from Montalcino, five minutes from Sant'Antimo, within 30 minutes you can be in Monte Oliveto Maggiore, Buonconvento, Murlo, Pienza, San Quirico d'Orcia, and Bagno Vignoni. Siena is about 45 minutes away.
All the apartments (except the studio) have separate bedrooms which is nice is one of you wants to sleep and the other wants to read or watch TV. All the kitchens have everything you need to cook and serve a full meal. The bathrooms are large (by Italian standards) and have heated towel racks, hairdryers, shampoo, etc. Everything is very clean and in good condition.
The agriturismo has a pool, hot tub, weight room, sauna, several patios with furniture and a new wine cellar. Don't miss a tour of the cellar and a tasting of Brunello. The views are of the vineyard and surrounding hills.
The family speaks Engish and is very helpful. There is a restaurant in the village about 100 meters from the apartments that is very good.
