I'm a long time visitor to Vejer, a beautiful white village on the Costa de la Luz and this time I opted to stay at Casa Rivas, a lovely two bedroom house close to the centre of town. The house itself is two storeys and the entrance is through an enclosed courtyard full of lovely plants. The house is simply but comfortably furnished with all the mod cons to make the stay convenient and relaxing. I loved the roof terrace which lead off from the top bedroom. The terrace looks onto the town of Vejer and the beautiful surrounding countryside - for those that appreciate good vistas this is hard to beat. Food wise there is a good mix of restaurants and bars selling tapas nearby, but for those who like to cook there is a daily market selling fresh fish, fruit and vegetables. Butchers, bakers, delicatessens and wine shops are all close by. My only problem was staying away from them. Linda of EBM works so hard to ensure guests are happy with their accommodation. A lot of thought and consideration is given to ensure guests have a relaxing, happy and enjoyable stay in Vejer. Go. You won’t be disappointed. Anne

This is the second year running we have been to casa sin nombre and we had an amazing time, the apartments were clean and fresh, and the people that manage the apartments are very helpful. The apartment is exactly what we were expecting. The communal terraces are great, the perfect place to watch the sunset with a glass of vino!!!

A great relaxing holiday, I have recommended it to all my friends and family. My sister and her family plan to come over next year. Thankyou Buenas Manos for another great hoiday. see you next year !!

Dear "headcleaner"

We are sorry that you were disappointed with Casa Sin Nombre but this is the first complaint we have had on this property in over 4 years of renting. Please rest assured that we take every complaint very seriously.

When you called to say that you were leaving 1 day early you gave no indication that you were unhappy with the accommodation. As mentioned to you on arrival, if you did have problems with the property then you were to contact the property managers Bruce or Paul who are available 24/7 and respond to the rare occurence of call outs within 1 hour. Casa Sin Nombre is a wonderful house offering the most amazing views to Morrocco and at over 800 years old the occasional insect or ant will find its way until the apartments. Unfortunately due to the extreme heat this year ants were a problem all over town and I believe the insects/cockroaches you mentioned are grillos - they are seasonal beetles and descend upon Vejer every year during August/September. The photos and the description on the website were updated in June of this year to keep the information accurate and show each of the apartments and the communal terrace and patio areas.

First of all we would like to thank Mike and Linda for their great hospitality.

As we had been in Vejer several times before we did not have any problems with finding the appartment. The appartment was even better than described in the internet. It was very clean and fully equiped. Even thought we were only the four of us, all six beds were prepared so that we had the chance to choose bedroom. If we would have had the chance to stay longer we would not have hesitate to do so. We recomend every one who looks for a place to stay in Vejer to book this appartment. Next time we go to Vejer we will definately stay in this appartment.

We left the accommodation two days before the sign out date; the quarters were dirty; only the bathroom had been cleaned before our arrival - however, as it has neither window nor ventilation, it becomes damp after one use.

There were lots of ants crossing the floor, the beds and the kitchen furnitures. There were other little, black bugs I didn't recognize, and had to sweep several cockroaches. We had to deplete a insect killer can during the three days we stayed there.

When we called to give notice we were leaving, nobody asked for an explanation.

"Ok, thank you", she said. I think it wasn't the first time a customer was upset, so she didn't need an explanation.

Nosotros nos fuimos del apartamento dos dias antes de lo acordado; las habitaciones estaban sucias; antes de nuestra llegada solo habian limpiado el cuarto de bano (pero como no tenia ventana ni ventilacion, despues de un solo uso se quedaba totalmente humedo).

Habia montones de hormigas correteando por el suelo, las camas y los muebles de la cocina. Habia otros bichitos negros que no reconoci, y tuve que barrer varias cucarachas. Tuvimos que gastar un bote de insecticida en los tres dias que estuvimos alli.

Cuando llamamos para avisar de que nos ibamos, nadie nos pidio una explicacion. "Ok, gracias", nos dijo la tipa. Creo que no era la primera vez que un cliente se iba molesto, asi que por eso no necesitaba preguntar que paso.

This was the fifth year running we've stayed in a property looked after by Linda. "En Buenas Manos" is a perfect description of the service provided, as we have always felt that we are in good hands. We know that on arrival we will be met with the same cheerful efficiency, the properties will be spotless and any questions swiftly answered. Linda is very approachable and helpful and we have enjoyed a glass of wine and a chat with her by the pool on more than one occasion! We would certainly go to En Buenas Manos first when looking for a rental in Vejer again.

Although we stayed for just four days, our mini break was really special. We were lucky to be squeezed in as bookings in many places are for the entire week. The apartment we rented had spectacular views from the terrace. Although it was quite small (no bath, just a shower), it was perfectly formed, very clean and neat, and the welcome pack provided by Buenos Manos was a godsend as we arrived late and starving. We hope to return for our anniversary in October, but for longer, there is so much to see and do in this beautiful corner of Spain.
