Vacation Rental Name: Noves
The saying 'it's the little things that make all the difference' sums up our stay in Noves. Little things like lumpy pillows ... cracked crockery ... bedroom doors that stick ... poor television reception (during the World Cup) ... electric socket hanging off the wall (directly above the dryer vent). The list goes on ... an overwhelming smell of cat along with smelly drains.
We were disappointed with the level of service we received from the house owner who, according to the French Affair agent 'was a very busy person with another business to run', and therefore unable to deal with us when we needed the pillows replaced or the reception fixed.
When booking a villa for your holiday you take a chance, you hope the description of the property is correct. You phone the agency; ask questions...you're reassured about any concerns. You pay the full rental fee (2590 GBP),and look forward to your holiday.
I would not recommend this villa, on the surface it was beautiful, but as mentioned it fell short on the things that can make or break a holiday. You want to return home rested and rejuvenated not irratated and annoyed.
