Hotels and B&Bs in Europe
We recommend our affiliate Booking.com for the best prices on hotels in Europe. The website is easy to use and they have good information for the hotels - room descriptions, photos, reviews.
Your credit card is used to secure your reservation, but no charges are made until you get to the hotel (read the cancelation policy for each hotel - some may require more than 24 hours notice).
I use Booking.com for all my Europe hotel reservations. Their prices are better than you find on the hotel website and changing or canceling your reservation is easy. Once you book, you receive all the hotel contact information by email. Call the hotel a week or two before arrival to confirm your reservation and make any special requests (e.g. a fragrance-free room with no air fresheners).
