Scotland Vacation Rentals - Highlands
The mountain area in northern Scotland is called the "highlands". This area includes the Isle of Skye and the city of Aberdeen. Here you will find remote towns, wild coastline and lochs (lakes), pre-historic stone circles and whiskey distilleries. This region is a great summer destination when the days are long (it is very far north) and the weather is mild (winters can be severe).
