Hello! We are doing our yearly trip to Switzerland, driving there from the UK. I have booked 3 weeks in Lenk (our usual destination) and 1 week in Pontresina in Eastern Switzerland. We haven’t been there since the 1990s. We are still “hunting” for ibex, those mountain goats with the big curled horns and there are supposed to be a lot of them in the mountains above Pontresina. And a chairlift takes you right up to the altitude they are at.
I will check into the forums daily but not as often as usual, so new members may have to wait awhile until your first post goes live.
And you spammers, you busy, busy spammers, will have to wait in the queue longer until I ban you!
I am still dealing with this illness (Giant Cell Arteritis) and this has been a difficult year, but I am nearing the end of the treatment and full recovery looks possible. I look forward to not needing to rest in the afternoon and to be able to walk further than 3 miles. The upside is that I’ve got a lot of reading done.
