Hello all - I am trying to purchase tickets online in order to avoid the lines, but I only see full price tickets, not reduced or free (I have a teen and a student who qualify). Can anyone advise me on how to obtain those in advance?
Many thanks!

Hi Nicole,

I tried fiddling around with the site as well without any luck. I see the rate table, but when purchasing the only option is the 13 euro price. It might be worth the extra euro just to have the ticket in hand now. Did you notice that the reduced rate is only good at certain hours? After 4:30 everyday except Thursday, and Thursday evenings after 6:00. I would consider these visiting hours - do they work with your schedule?

Hopefully someone with purchase experience via the online ticket shop can help here!

I was thinking to just purchase at the full rate to save the time as well I hadn't noticed the limited reduced rate hours so that seems like a reasonable option any way.

My most recent discovery is that with a museum pass, the under 18 doesn't need a ticket, (http://en.parismuseumpass.com/rub-faq-16.htm) so that may be worthwhile too.

Thanks for the extra detective work!
