Hello, We (2 adults) are looking for recommendations for apartments to rent in Seville and Grenada. We may, or may not, rent a car so info. about parking is useful. We'd like to be in a relatively quiet residential area not to far from the main attractions. Any help will be most appreciated. Thanks, Howard

We go to Seville and Granada often.
Our favorite Seville rental is this place on calle Betis, a riverside street well known for its beauty, just off the major bridge of Triana (also name of the barrio). Lovely apartment. The building even has a lift. A great view. And one of Seville's top markets is just down the block. All the major monuments are within walking distance (example: Alcazar is a charmig 20-minute walk away; the big cathedral about 15 minutes). The Triana neighborhood has a lot of great tapas bars, quite a few of which are former fancy tile workshops converted.
The rental is a 2-bedroom, but not expensive. It is operated by Veoaprtments. We have rented from them many times. They are dependable :

Our second Seville pick is this one-bedroom apartment on Plaza Santa Cruz ("Santa Cruz C", a beautiful square in the beautiful barrio Santa Cruz. It is even more central.
Santa Cruz itself is a beautiful area, where we have rented several times and enjoyed the surroundgins greatly, especially the VIneria San Telmo, our favorite restaurant, just 2 minutes away.
We prefer the Triana apartment because my husband loves to cook and appreciates a well-equipped kitchen and a nearby excellent market. And we love the funkiness of the old de Gypsy barrio feel, but that's just our, not everyone's, priority :

Our 3rd pick is Apartmnet "Santa Cruz A", which is next door to Santa Cruz C. It is a 2-bedroom. I remember the kitchen being very well equipped. Again, our priority.
The owner, not speaking English, is very nice and helpful. He came to pick us up at the train station without our asking him to, and for free.

Our favorite. Granada rental is this beautiful house with a dropdead view of the Alhambra from the rooftop terrace and also from the living room. The sprawling kitchen is all in fancy old tiles. It is in the fabled old Arab neighborhood of Albaycin, now a listed Unesco heritage site. it is very quiet even during high-tourist season of May, but is only a 5-minute walk down to the animated riverside full of shops and cafés.
The owner is very nice and helpful.

You'll have a great time. Please report back. There are many Seville/Granada fans here.
