Anyone ever use OneMyFi in Italy?

I'm headed to Rome for a long weekend in January with my husband and niece. I normally buy a local SIM after arriving in Italy (Verizon is my US carrier and $10 a day for international coverage is usually much more than just getting a local SIM). Given that this trip will be short - arriving Saturday and returning the following Tuesday + suspecting the niece will also want data for her phone I was looking at OneMiFi as maybe a less expensive option than multiple SIM cards. I don't need phone or text - just data. They have pick up/drop off in Fiumicino Terminal 1 where we will be going through. I'm not sure what the battery life of the units are which is a concern. I was curious if anyone had used them and could say how well it worked and what the battery life might be.
