Barcelona tips? Fun stuff and what to be careful of

Hey guys


I’m heading to Barcelona soon and super excited to explore the beaches, food, and nightlife. Just curious if there’s anything I should be careful about like scams or pickpockets.


Also, any fun places you recommend that aren’t packed with tourists? Would love your tips!

Pickpockets a’plenty. Just be smart and keep your valuables well secured and/or in your front pockets. But, having said that, don’t let the anxiety lessen your trip. It is a fantastic city just to stroll around in. If it’s your first time, i recommend taking a hop-on-hop-off bus; they aren’t perfect but I’ve always found that they give you a good feel for the city and where you might want to spend your time. I think Barcelona has at least two routes, but the internet of things can give you the details. My experience has been that the crowds are more a function of when you’re there rather than where you are. A truly lovely city
