Help Needed Bologna Airport Hotel Suggestion

We will be in Florence and will head to Bologna the day before an early morning flight from Bologna (BLQ). Any recommendations for a hotel with easy access to the airport the night before departure. We will not have a car. Thanks in advance for any help

Sorry I don't know them, but I will say that Bologna airport is relatively close to the city itself, so if you're ok with a modest taxi journey (about 20 mins), it opens the city itself up to you, and it's a city that can reward a mere day trip.

We got an early flight from there a few years ago, and it worked well, phoning up (IIRC) the night before to book the taxi from outside the apartment we were staying in.

Last month we used the FlyOn hotel close to Bologna airport and were suitably impressed. Like you, we were on public transport - we arrived by train at Bologna Centrale and got a taxi to the hotel at about 5.30pm. We had a meal at the hotel - while service was a bit slow, the food itself was good.
The hotel provides a free minibus transfer to the airport which we used - our flight was not early (left just before 10am) and the hotel runs the service every 15 minutes from 0445am until 1225pm in the afternoon; the trip took less than 10 minutes, even in the morning rush hour. It is not an all-day shuttle and in the evening runs from 2115-2345pm.
The room was extremely comfortable and spacious and the included breakfast very good with decent hot options as well as the expected cold offerings (I think you can also book a room without breakfast). I read a few google reviews before booking and they were somewhat mixed, but our experience was very positive.
