Bordeaux Advice for Lodging and Wine Touring

We are going ahead and planning a visit to southwestern France this fall. We figure why not, it's no worse, maybe better than the US as far as COVID and we are fully vaccinated and good with masks. One week in the Pyrenees with some mountain bike rides and hikes, then driving up the coast to Bordeaux for 3-4 days. I am surprised to find very little mention of Bordeaux on the Forums. Maybe I've missed it, but I am looking for any recommendations for a bed and breakfast or small inn preferably right in town, and also any referrals for a private wine tour guide that would be open to customizing for our preferences. Merci!

Sommelier/Driver/Host Henri Challeau. We did one day with him. He made all arrangements to visit wineries. We went to 3 in St Emillion and one in Pomerol. Visited Coutet, La Croizille, Canon-la-Gaffelière and Gazin (Pomerol). You can google his name and read the great reviews of his tours.
