Help Needed Bordeaux Area Guide

100+ Posts
A group of our friends (we will not be with them) are going to Bordeaux in May. They want to do this trip without a car - but also want to get out into the countryside and area towns like Sarlat for a day or two. They are looking for a guide that could provide transportation in addition to usual guide services. Has anyone used a guide in the Bordeaux area that you would recommend them contacting?

As always, thanks for any help.

Hi Penn,

I don't know of a guide service, but I have listened to "Join Us In France" podcast for many years. The author and podcaster, Annie Sergeant, offers a trip planning service where you can sign up and book an hour-long Zoom session with her to discuss the trip, your ideas, etc. This might be a good place to start.
Trip planning service w/Annie Sargent. I imagine she would have recommendations.

The podcast episodes are easy to sort through by region on her website. Of course you can find the episodes on Apple Podcasts as well.

Maybe this will be helpful,
Laura
