Christmas in Amsterdam

Hello,

My family and I will be spending Christmas in Amsterdam and would love any suggestions you have. My children are 18 and 20, and we have never visited Amsterdam before. We will be spending 3 days there, including Christmas Day.

It has been many years since we have been to Amsterdam but I loved walking the old neighbourhoods. The Anne Frank House, of course and the newly remodelled Van Gogh museum would be on my list.

Remember that the day after Christmas, Boxing Day, is a holiday in Europe, so things may be closed for two days. Have a look on the tourist office website to see if that is the case.
