Cordoba OR Ronda/Mijas?

Not quite slow travel, but....We're taking a transatlantic cruise from Rome back to Tampa with my daughter and her husband in November. Art and I have visitied most of the (few!) ports many times, so we thought we'd venture outside of the port cities. For our stop in Malaga there are two shore excursions (NOT the ones offered by the ship!). One goes to Cordoba, and the other to Ronda, then to the white village of Mijas. Obviously they'll both be quickie visits, but is one preferable over the other? More scenic? A great restaurant to try? TIA, again!

My 2-cents. Ronda/Mijas will be much more scenic. But, Cordoba has La Mosquita, which is utterly astonishing. You can see scenery in many places but La Mosquita is unique.

Another 2 cents; now you have 4. I’ve ever been to Ronda/Mijas, but fell in love with Cordoba. Smallish, very walkable, and as Penn says La Mosquita requires being seen. It’s a beautiful place

Also, had a wonderful meal at Restaurante Sociedad Plateros de Maria Auxi (gluten free friendly if that matters to you; it was a green chili pork dish)
