Cortina D’ampezzo and Dolomites

Looking for dinner ideas in Cortina D’ampezzo in early October. Also, good food generally in the Dolomites villages and rifugi located between Cortina D’ampezzo and Bolzano. We are in love with the Dolomites and have enjoyed some of the german influenced cuisine, but generally don’t feel that we have found the culinary highlights of the region. Any advice and tips much appreciated.

We'll be there in early Sept. Also in Ortisei, but meals included with rooms (hotel Dignon-stayed there before ,with great meals). I'll report about Cortina ,when we return.
