Does anyone know about Greek Ferries?

Our family will be on the Greek Island of Paros this summer. We are going to take a ferry to Santorini for a couple days. We want to take the Blue Star Ferry so we can sit outside if we want to. Does anyone know if at the end of May I should buy the tickets in advance? If so, what is the best website? I’m just worried about needing 12 tickets.

I cannot answer your specific question, but we have taken the ferry form Santorini to Athens (with a stop in Paros) and it was a wonderful day at sea. The high speed ferry for us was not worth the money. The larger slower ferry was a blast up on the upper deck. How long are you going to be on Santorini?
