Where is that embarrassed emoji! Two months ago I made a change to the email system with our webhost which caused forums email to stop working. No verification emails for new members, no notification emails, no weekly summary emails.
The forums have been slow and I have been consumed by world events and I didn’t notice. I did notice there were no more spammers and couldn’t understand why.
Yesterday I finally looked at my server error logs and yikes! Hundreds of emails that failed.
All is fixed now and the 75 people who registered during this time have been emailed (90% probably spammers).
