Escale à Sète

It's a tall ship festival that happens every two years. Very, very popular -- apparently they expect up to half a million visitors. We were there Tuesday and Wednesday -- my photos are here:

Sète is a lovely town anyway -- we haven't been for a good few years, and even with the crowds this visit reminded me why I like it so much. Especially as we found an AirBnB on La Pointe Courte -- absolutely perfect. The view. The house (on the left).

Amazing photos.

I have always wanted to go to this festival ever since I saw it in my favorite movie "César et Rosalie". Am so jealous. Is it always held around this time?
I love Sète. Love its Tielle.
