So happy to see so many familiar names on Slow Europe, and am looking forward to joining in. I was a long time lover of the ST site and learned so much there. My husband and I enjoyed several GTG's with other ST members in Boston and near Cape Cod. I have not been very active the past several years due to family demands, but am getting closer to retirement and hoping to do more traveling with Stephen, my dear husband of 41 years. We live in Massachusetts. I am a clinical social worker and a lover of all things Italian. My grandparents were born in the Lunigiana and near Parma, and I still have family that we love to visit in the Emilia region. My real name is Cindy, but chose my grandmother's name for the site! Hope to learn of any Get Togethers that may be happening and explore the site.
