Ferry Boats between Salerno and Cetara, Maiori and Minori

TAKE NOTE that the season of direct ferry boat crossings from Salerno to Cetara, Maiori and Minori has been extended, and boats are CURRENTLY IN SERVICE.

The boats are operated by Travelmar, which also runs the boat service between Salerno and Amalfi/Positano.

All boats dock at the Concordia Dock, 800 meters from the Salerno train station. It takes 10 minutes on foot to walk from the station to the dock, where this is a ticket kiosk.

I do NOT recommend buying tickets in advance over the internet. Usually, there is no problem buying tickets on the spot for immediate use.

Boats are subject to cancellation due to bad weather. When boats are cancelled, you can take the SITA bus to Cetara, Maiori and Minori departing hourly from the Salerno train station. If the weather is bad when you arrive in Salerno, call the boat operator if you have a cell phone to confirm operation of the ferry boat, to avoid an unnecessary 10-minute walk to the dock.

Notice that with these additional ferries, there are now more crossings between Salerno and Amalfi, with the last crossing TO Amalfi at 18:00.

Great news for those arriving in Salerno by train in the late afternoon and who would otherwise be stuck taking the SITA bus.
