Gas for early car return at FCO

I will be returning a car at 7am on Sunday at Rome airpo Does anyone know if there will be gas stations open that early? At the airport? Ring road?

When driving down from the North to the Rome Airport, there is a gas station right before the ring road we always use. However, there were some on the ring road as well. I'm almost positive that the one before the ring road would be open early, as they rely on the airport traffic.

Yes, you should be safe on the G.R.A. ring road: if coming from the north, after the SS1 Aurelia exit. It was some years ago, but there was full service there in the 4 a.m. hour.
