I've not tried this service because I use my own iPhone on each annual trip to Paris. However, I know there are often questions on the forum about SIM cards or renting phones.
This company rents you a phone, loaded with information about Paris and connects to real people in Paris to help you. Local calls, texts are included. The phone also works outside of Paris.
Anyway, it's an interesting concept and the price drops, the longer your stay.
