I'll pick up my husband on his arrival in the morning and we'll leave and go south. We do want to have a chance to see Naples, mainly for the Museum, but I'd prefer we find some sort of "base of operations" such as a small villa, B&B, apartment or whatever NOT in Naples but close enough to go in if we choose, but also to leave from and visit other small towns etc. in the general vicinity = we need to be back to Fiumicino on the 6th, as we have lodging and a flight the next morning = Any suggestions of wonderful little towns or places to stay at? I did a little research and Potenza area seemed interesting to see and we've driven along and stayed along the coast, so going into the country might be a good choice.
