Just in the way of an introduction

We are Bob & Deb from Vero Beach Florida and Marlborough CT. Deb and Bob were both born and raised in New Haven Connecticut. We love Europe and since Bob's Grandparents came to the U.S. from Naples Italy and Deb's Grandparents came to the U.S. from Mytilene Greece, we love going back to Europe for vacations. Deb also has some German in her on her Father's side. but going to Germany has not been on our radar. However we are looking into Germany and Austria as a possible 2017 trip. We were long time Slow Travelers forum users and planned our first on our own trip based on their recommendations and the trip was a dream and very cost effective. Sad to see Slow Traveler leaving the traveling scene. Hope this site is an equal wonderful and exciting replacement for us.

No worries! I don't know if you know that Slow Travel was began by Pauline back in - 1999?, or so, and after selling ST she then started SE, so the concept is the same, many of the people are the same and the advice is definitely practical and helpful! Welcome!
