Looking for town to base in for visiting wineries in Campania

Want to spend 3 or 4 nights possibly in the province of Avellino in the state of Campania, would also consider other provinces to stay in as well.
Would like to see if anyone has recommendations for places to stay, restaurants and other wineries besides Feudi di San Gregorio and Mastroberadino.
Also, any must see sites we should visit
Looking at the beginning of November after taking a trip to the Amalfi Coast for a week.

Unfortunately no experience around Avellino/Taurasi, but I do love the wines.

Mastroberardino have long been a favourite, and especially the taurasi / taurasi riserva, which should be very appealingly priced in the region.

Feudi di SG do come in for some criticism for being modern/polished, but I think that criticism goes a bit too far - for me they're generally reliable and decent value at the lower end of the scale. A decent 'safe bet'.

Other wineries. I'm too out of touch, but as I have a bottle of Luigi Tecce Poliphemo in the cellar, I must have thought enough of them to try it. I always believe in trying an unknown / barely known winery for every name winery we visit, with excellent result doing so. That thinking isn't just for the wines, but also that the hospitality at a smaller place is often way nicer than the bigger places.

If going to the Amalfi coast, then Gran Furor / Marisa Cuomo in Furore is a shining light. Ravello and Furore riservas are both excellent reds, and the white Fior d'Uva really good and can take some age.

We are actually going on a tour of the Amalfi Coast with Smithsonian Journeys. Staying in the town of Vietri Sul Mare and day tripping all over the region this way we don't have to deal with driving and can enjoy the views. That is for only 7 days so wanted to extend the trip into the interior of Campania to visit some wineries.
