Madonna Della Corona

Hi, we’re a senior couple spending 3 nights in Peschiera del Garda this September.
We are looking for a private driver or tour to take us up to the Sanctuary of Madonna Della Corona.
We would probably take the shuttle from Spiazza rather than climb many, many stairs.

Any suggestions or thoughts appreciated

You'll enjoy the sanctuary! I can't speak to public transportation, we drove ourselves up. I wrote about it in my 2024 report including our stops around Lake Garda etc. The shuttles at the sanctuary ran conveniently non stop, but we did walk round trip. The walk down was winding along the switchback road. Lovely bronze statues depicting the stages of the cross allowed for short breaks for meditation with some wonderful views. There are nice facilities offering food, drink and restrooms located at the monastery chapel. Enjoy!

I visited in October/2025 from Verona. I hired a Taxi
R/T as not very convenient Public transportation. The Bus from Spiazza to the sanctuary. Walking down easy but I took the bus as I was paying for the waiting time to the Taxi. Excellent experience. There were only 2-3 people at the Sanctuary when I went in the morning
