Greetings from Tourette sur loup where we are wrapping up our last day and heading back home this afternoon. Had a wonderful rural experience at our friend's farm in the Massif des Bauges including some hands on farming with tips from the 89 year old uncle who had tilled this land since he was a kid. Came to Tourette last Thursday and visited some of the less known places around here since we have been to this area several times . Will try and do a trip report when we get back. Finally visited Chamonix and had a clear beautiful day for our ride up to the Mt. Blanc viewing area too...

We were in Chamonix 30 years ago and returned for one night last year. What a change! 30 years ago it was popular but was just another sleepy alpine village. Now it is much larger, big hotels, large downtown area. I recognized nothing - well, except Mt Blanc.
