Kathy, thank you very much!Marks and Spencers. H&M. Outdoor markets.
And we find great deals on casual clothes/sporting wear at Decathlon, also in the UK. We also like Mountain Warehouse, a British chain with sporting wear... they have some very good sale prices.
Ian, thank you very much!Marks and Spencer (often referred to colloquially as Marks & Sparks) is always a good solid starting point.
Primark covers the very cheap end of the market and have been very successful
Decathlon have indeed been very good over the years for sporting and sportswear, but we sense they're not as good as they used to be.
Gap, Next and others also worth a browse
Department stores worth a look e.g. John Lewis, House of Fraser & Debenhams, plus the last few independent department stores. Always a smattering of other clothes shops in the centre of towns and cities.
Pauline, thank you!If you are in the southwest, we have a chain of women’s wear called Seasalt. I love their clothes. Lots of stripes.
Also Fat Face, found in many towns.
Not on the high street, but only online, Boden is popular.
