Contest 2019 Winner!
My wife and I will be heading to Normandy in a couple weeks. The only portion of the trip I am concerned about is the initial transfer from CDG to Rouen.
Our Current Plan is to:
Arrive Terminal 2A CDG
Taxi/Uber to Paris Gare St Lazare
Take the train to Rouen SCNF (TER)

Seems simple enough... But the devil is always in the details.
Question(s)
Does this plan make sense?
Should we buy our train tickets:
- online before we go
- at the airport
- wait till we get to Gare St Lazare

Once in Rouen, we will be picking up a rental vehicle for 10 days. We have friends who live there so some time we will be with them and some time just exploring.

The plan is to return the car in Caen and catch train back to Paris for 4 days in the city.

Any comments/suggestions are welcomed.

BTW it is nice to be back on SE, it has been awhile.

We opted for the taxi from CDG to Gare St Lazare.
Just pushed the easy button.
Fixed price of 58 euros as displayed on the window.
Not sure I would consider any other way in the future.
