I posted this in the "other place" but for those who don't follow the discussions there I thought it might be useful for you to know this if you are in London in September - weekend of the 19th/20th.

For those who have not heard of this venture - it is an opportunity to visit buildings of architectural (and frequently, other) interest which are not normally open to the public. Could be a fun and unusual outing for someone visiting London! The list of buildings (some are only available for entry by advance ballot) will be published on Friday.
