Overnight train or ferry from Napoli to Palermo?

Looking to get the most comfortable accomodations for an overnight ferry or train ride. I've ridden the train before but only in the 2 bed public compartment. If the train is the recommended mode i would get a private room.But I've never tried the ferry before

The Ferry is better in my opinion; less stress.

Yes, I would go with the ferry as well. Check your options from Salerno as well, it's easy to each from Naples.

I've ridden the train out of Napoli twice before. But I've never taken a ferry. I may try it
