We have finally purchased our airfare to Palma Mallorca! I mentioned in a previous post that we are attending a wedding in Deia in early October. We have booked 3 nights in Deia and will have a car for day trips from there. Port de Soller and Valdemossa look to be the obvious day trips? any recommendations on other places to visit on this side of the island?
We will arrive 6 days prior to the wedding and are considering spending the first 4 nights in Palma. Palma seems relatively large and spread out? We are looking at lodgings in and around the City Centre, walking distance to the Basilica and beach area. If you have been, can you recommend specific areas that would be nice convenient locations for 4 nights? and interesting things and places to see while there?
Looking forward to this getaway! Unfortunately, it's only a short 8 night stay across the pond, we need to be home for another wedding the week after in October. We live in Virgina and the following wedding is in San Diego.... these kids and their destination weddings!!!!
