Food & Drink Paris - Chinese restaurant or dim sum

Friends are visiting Paris next week, staying in the 9th arrondissement (rue Rodier) and asked me for a recommendation for Chinese restaurant or dim sum place. I have never gone to a Chinese restaurant in Paris, hence the request here. ( @Parigi hope you see this )

By the way, with all the Chinese here in Venice, we have not found or gotten a recommendation for a good Chinese place.

I always go to Gyoza Bar in the Passage des Panoramas. Although the address is the 2nd, it's next to the 9th. http://www.gyozabar.com

Also in the 2nd, are the Asian restaurants on and around rue Saint-Anne, mostly Japanese. I've been to several of these places. Again, not far from the lower 9th.

If they want to branch out beyond the 9th, Shang Palace in the 16th, is supposed to be upscale. I've not been there. I had bookmarked this 2016 France Today article
