Parking on the outskirts of Rome

We will be driving from Florence to south of Rome in the Gaeta area. We would like to spend a couple of nights in the center of Rome. Is anyone aware of a parking area on the periphery of Rome where we could leave our car for a couple of nights, happy to pay, obviously, and take a taxi or public transportation into the Centro. I’ve been burned too many times by the one ways and the ZTL‘s trying to maneuver in Rome itself.

It has been a few years but we used to park at the Metro stop Rebibbia on Via Tiburtina not too far off the GRA. They have a big parking area.

When I had a similar question, the Jonio metro station was suggested.
