I love photographing flags when I travel, especially when they are surrounded by some of the most beautiful locations. Here is a photo of the Italian flag on the back of the ferry leaving the Island of Capri.

The latest style....

This is from a procession of the contrade in Montepulciano. The first photo shows the flag of the contrada where we were staying, Cagnano. The parade started at the town hall at the top of the hill town and wound down the streets to the church of St. Agnes at the bottom.

Here is the procession going through the town, showing the display of flags for the contrada it was passing through at the time.
