This week’s Photo Hunt No. 35 (Week of September 2, 2018) – Waterfall(s)

A Photo Hunt 2018 category is available on the Media Gallery.

Restaurant signs and menus, ancient hieroglyphics, water calligraphy in China, artful calligraphy and modern day messages from visitors and a baby announcement for friends, neighbors and family are wonderful choices for this week’s theme.

Again in Iceland, this time Dettifoss. This is in the interior and reached along an unsealed road, which only reopened after the winter a couple of days before we took these pictures.
The waterfall has cut a deep gorge leading to it.

There are no ropes, safety barriers or warning signs and it is possible to get quite close to the edge...
