Crowds and crowded places : many of us try to steer away from them, but even Mt. Everest has succumbed (crowds are partly to blame for the recent rise in deaths among climbers there).
On the other hand, sometimes if you want to be part of the celebration, you have to be one of the crowd....
Two pics to start the thread :
The first taken at the annual Rice Fair held in Isola della Scala, Italy. We stopped there last year on the drive to Verona, hoping to find lots of stalls with all types of rice producers. And while there were a number of these, the main magnet was a large pavilion for risotto lunching. Probably won't be going there again....
The second photo is from Genoa.
