Pre-Theater Dining Recommendation in Stratford upon Avon

We are excited to be able to see the play Coriolanus by the Royal Shakespeare Company in Stratford upon Avon during our upcoming visit! Any suggestions on pre-theater dining options, not too expensive, not too formal? Oh, and what is the typical dress for theater there on a Saturday night? Hopefully "business casual" will suffice? Thank you!

Vintner in Sheep Street was recommended to me the other day by a friend as they had just eaten a very good meal there. It is conveniently situated - just a few steps from the theatre. 'Business casual' will be absolutely fine. You will see a wide range of dress as anything goes really.

There are several good Italian restaurants in Stratford, if you're looking for something a little different. Before seeing "Julius Caesar," we ate at Sorrento.

And I recently discovered a very good Thai restaurant, that would be convenient to the theatre: The Giggling Squid. I had lunch there twice... a nice change of pace.
