Restaurant recommendations for Lisbon, Coimbra and Porto….

My wife has a moderate gluten intolerance, but we’re usually able to manage that at most restaurants. What are your favorites? Mostly casual, please, but open to a higher end place or two. Thanks in advance.

IN Lisbon and Porto I recommend Honest Greens. They have a location in Lisbon by the river that is fantastic and in Porto on a walking street. Healthy and Great food.

In Lisbon, I really liked Taberna da Rua das Flores—tiny place with great atmosphere and traditional dishes. In Porto, Adega São Nicolau had super tasty grilled sardines and friendly service.

anyway, if you’re ever in Koh Samui and craving a break from Portuguese food, I really liked https://salathaisamui.com for Thai—super fresh ingredients and chill atmosphere. In Lisbon, I also liked eating at Time Out Market for variety, but it gets a bit crowded. In Porto, the francesinha at Café Santiago was way better than I expected.
