We're planning a trip to Spain in Sept.-Oct. with another couple. Barcelona to San Sebastian (two of our very favorite places) with a few day in Rioja area (where we've never been) on the way. We're debating between booking a wine tour/guide or renting a car in San Se. Would appreciate suggestions for tours/guides, reliable car rental agencies, and best small towns in which to stay. Restaurant suggestions are also welcome. Thanks in advance.
