This was our fourth stay at this perfectly wonderful resort, and we will return again next May. I guess you could say, we really like it. It sits near Montepulciano, high on a hill overlooking the Val d'Orcia region of Tuscany. Not only is the resort wonderful, but the owner Nico, is simply the best in the business. You come away feeling like you have made a true friend.
The apartments come in all sizes, with original Tuscan flavors. The grounds come with a swimming pool and approximately 160 acres to roam. Cars are all parked in underground parking areas, so you always feel like you are away from civilization. Large patio's for relaxation, which we find particularly perfect during the evening or early morning hours. A Pine Forest sits behind his property, and olive trees are scattered throughout.
This is particularly perfect for those needing a respite from the busy world we live in. The area is also much cooler than the big cities such as Rome. I do know a lot of families like the summer months, as the pool is perfect for families. While sitting up high looking at the countryside, I decided there is no place on Earth as beautiful and peaceful as Sant'Antonio.
