Vacation Rental Name: Castellana
We rented this apartment for a week in our April 2014 trip to Sicily. The apartment is lovely, quiet, very comfortable and centrally located. The kitchen is good. From the terrace you look at a beautiful Baroque church (whose bells only ring on Sunday, so don't worry about being kept awake). The apartment owner, Giovanni, lives next door and is helpful and charming. He speaks English (not fluent, but pretty good). I highly recommend this apartment.
The town of Scicli is beautiful, mostly untouristed and fun to explore. Much of the Young Montalbano TV series was filmed there. You are close to the other Baroque towns of Modica, Ragusa and Notto. You are also close to the seaside towns. This is a very nice area to explore.
