Sicily, Venice, Rome, and London - February - 2019

We are spending a few weeks in Europe, beginning February 10th. Traveling with our grown kids. Spending most nights in Airbnb's and with family in London.

Our itinerary is -
Stop over night Fiumiccino
Feb 10 - 15 - Sicily - 3 nights Toarmina, 2 nights Siracusa
Stop over night Rome
Feb 16 - 19 - 3 nights Venice
Feb 19 - 24 - 5 nights Rome
Feb 24 - March 1 London
Stop over night Rome
March 2 - Head Home

We've never visited Sicily, We are renting a car, and we don't plan to leave the east coast.

Any Suggestions or recommendations for, places not to miss or good eats along the way are welcome.

For Sicily, I think you will find a lot to do in both Taorimina and Siracusa. From Taormina you can drive up into the mountains and find those town where The Godfather movies were filmed. Siracusa has good Roman ruins and the Oritgia area (almost an island and really part of the town) is fabulous. If you want to do a day trip from there, you could drive to Noto, but I found that town pretty but very touristy. We stayed further inland in Scicli.

Just eat everything!!!! The food in Sicily is the best in all of Italy.
