The New York Times has an interesting review of a new documentary about the annual theater event staged by the residents of Monticchiello, a frazione of Pienza located to its east, and south of Montepulciano. It sounds fascinating.
Unfortunately, unless you live in New York or LA it's unlikely that a documentary, especially one in a foreign language, will come to a theater near you. As it is right now it's only playing in one theater in Manhattan.
