the Hague and Delft for 3 nights

I'm staying in the Hague for 3 nights in June. I fly into Amsterdam in the morning and plan on taking a train from the airport straight to the Hague. On the fourth day, I'll take a train to Paris where I meet up with my mom for the rest of my trip. I've spent time in Amsterdam so am not interested in going back on this trip.

Does anyone have suggestions for things to do and places to eat in the Hague and Delft? Is it worth spending an afternoon in Rotterdam?
The main reason I decided to stay in the Hague is to go to the Mauritius museum.

I have lived and worked in The Hague for periods of time. The Hague is a great place to walk around especially in the Central part of the city. Mauritshaus is in the Binnenhof which is a beautiful group of Parliament buildings. I think you can take a tour - I didn't do it. I worked near by and would walk through it on the way to work. Some places to explore near by are the Lake Hofvijifer, The Passage (De Passage), walking up Nordeinde towards the royal palace. I also enjoyed walking toward Hotel Des Indes and up Denneweg. I did not get a chance to go to the Gemeentemuseum Den Haag which houses a lot of Mondrian painting. I did visit Maudrodam which surprising not as bad as I expected. I actually had fun. Scheveningen is a good trip and easy via the tram. It is a tourist site due to the Casino but it is fun to walk along the North Sea Beach. I think you can rent bikes and ride in the dunes north of Scheveningen and even go as far as Katwijk. You can also walk through the dunes. It was a long while ago so I don't have any recommendations for eating.

I didn't go to Delft that often. I would recommend visiting the main market square around Nieuwe Kert. I did also stay two months in Leiden which is another short train ride from the Hague. There is a windmill, lovely center of town, Rijksmuseum van Oudheden which is an archaeological museum, several interesting churches (Pieterskerk), Mayflower Pilgrim sites and the Burcht van Leiden.

If you want to venture further, Haarlem is a great town for exploring and it is not that far to go to Amsterdam.
