This is a great site with an app as well for booking rail travel in Europe.
I just received an email that they are changing their web address to trainline.com

We travelled through France, Switzerland and Italy in September, October and November last year and used trainline. Very easy to use for planning and booking.

Trainline.com was the site for booking British trains and Trainline.eu was the site for trains in most of the rest of Europe. I used both. Now it's just all combined in the same site, and your trainline.eu account info is transferred over. I find this a very easy site to use!

I used it for buying train tickets in Spain and found it easy to use and efficient. The site is actually much more user-friendly than the Spanish Renfe site.
